Customer Reviews: Average Rating: 4.0/5
prettyyyyy prettyyyyy pretttyyyyy pretty good: Rating: 4/5
Had mine for a week or so now,and for the price i'm quite impressed.
The build isn't fanstastic,feels a little flimsy,but i'm sure it'll be fine.
Seems fast enough, think i may stick extra memory in tho.
On the downside, the dvd drive. The buttons stick,as does the drawer when taking in a disc. And as you have to press the button (on the side) quite firmly, the lightweight casing slides across my workstation lol

I haven't taken a look inside the casing yet,but reading the reviews of the installed components,i don't think Zoostorm have cut many corners. (Rave reviews for the dual core processor for example.)

All in all,i'm pretty happy with it,and installation takes no time.
Delivery was spot on.
Takes all my peripherals, altho one problem with my current modem (NTL).Not a problem with ethernet, but to install via usb with installation disc from NTL,just didn't happen.I think it's out of date, not being compatible with Windows 7...............but thats an issue with my provider, not Zoostorm.

Would i recommend? Yes.
No go: Rating: 1/5
Difficult to review something that didn't work.

Amazon delivered quickly and it was packaged fine.

On connecting the unit to my monitor and turning it on, the machine started but refused to output any signals to my monitor. The monitor worked fine with my old desktop. The help line is unhelpfully only open during 9-5.30 Mon - Fri and it being Sunday was therefore as useful as a chocolate teapot.

So I had to return it, which Amazon does pretty smoothly and I'm now waiting/hoping for a refund. It's all been a big waste of time considering I bought this for my mum and have to travel a couple of hours to get to her, to setup the thing.

I'm now not a fan of Zoostorm which I'd never heard of before and won't be choosing again.
Spot On !: Rating: 5/5
I spent half a day getting stuff of the old PC before installing this Zoostorm, so was getting jaded by the whole PC installation. I connected the broadband, printer, speakers etc before switching it on and was amazed that it didn't ask for connection codes for the broadband or installation CD for the printer. Obviously it is so much faster than my old PC but it is the fact that nothing fazes it. For instance my old Minolta camera was recognised within a minute of plugging it into the PC - no hunting about for installation CD.
ZooStorm Flies on Windows 7: Rating: 5/5
What can I say. delivered a day before the pre dispatch estimate. Delivered in good condition, I had to reseat the powr connectors on the motherboard as they had lifted slightly. ZooStorm have changed the case, it is has the front USB & microphoe/headphone in the middle front of the cabinet with the power on of switch, which is blue with a red HD light.

The instructions are ok, but refer to Vista, a non existant windows disk and also a non existant Bullguard Internet Security Trial, they also imply you need to activate windows, but W7 does this automatically. I can't work out how the sound is supposed to be 5.1 as there is only 1 audio plug at the back of the PC (and another microphone & Headphone point???). Ill probably remove the soundcard out of my old PC & shut down the Realtek Audio facility.

Noise - people have said the fan is noisy, is it? not for me, I can hardly hear it and it is quiet, so nothing to worry about there.

Windows 7 installation was simplistic, taking just over 5 minutes.

Early days yet, but I am really pleased.
Good value for money: Rating: 5/5
I bought this two weeks ago without knowing anything about the company, or about computers, other than you plug them in and hopefully all is well, but this looked like a good deal, and so far it has been. It's child's play to set up even for the most nervous computer user, with very clear instructions which ensure you don't go wrong, plus it's already programmed with the registation key so you won't find your machine suddenly stopping after 30 days because you've forgotten to register your edition of Windows. Despite all of my peripherals being Windows XP, or earlier, it recognised them instantly with no need for me to hunt about for any installation disks apart from my HP printer. Windows 7 takes a bit of getting used to - I spent ages looking for 'My Documents' only to discover that Microsoft, in its wisdom, have decided to junk that and it's now called Documents - but you can create a short cut to your desktop. I found it a very fast machine, much faster than my old one, and though the fan isn't the quietest in the world you soon get used to it. Oh, and if you're like me and can't figure out how to open the DVD slot it's on the right hand side, that silver 'dip', which you press firmly, and hey presto it opens!
