Being a techno idiot I am totally in love with this little baby. Does everything it says on the tin. Simple to use, light weight and cute as a button.
We pretty much go everywhere together now. | | The best netbook out there!: Rating: 5/5 |
After building myself a high performance desktop pc, I no longer needed a large heavy bulky slow (vista!) laptop. But did still want a small portable way of staying connected and doing work while in front of tv or when on the move etc.
So my hunt started for a netbook. After a few days of searching I thought I was going to buy a Samsung as the reviews were great. But then I stumbled across this little beauty!
I tried a few netbooks out in computer stores and this one had the best keyboard by miles! After only 30mins of use I got used to the layout and size of keys etc.
The only slight downside to this netbook is the mouse clickers as they're left & right of the touch pad instead of underneath. In the long run this will probably be a much more convenient way. But as it's completely different to every other laptop mouse clickers, it does take some getting used to!
Performance wise the laptop is brilliant, I can play music, surf the web & do a bit of word processing and the little netbook doesn't even break into a sweat!
Battery life is amazing too! I had the laptop on and using it for around 8 hours before it finally said it needed charging!
If you're interested in the webcam feature then that is very sharp and gives a great image for the size of the camera!
And for anyone undecided about XP or Windows 7, I would definitley go with a netbook with XP. As although Windows 7 is brilliant on desktops & large laptops, it just isn't cut out for running a small netbook. But XP works brilliantly!
So put simply I think this is the best netbook out there at the moment! | | superb: Rating: 5/5 |
I bought one of these for xmas 09 for my two daughters, i searched the shops for around two months looking for the right one.
It needed to have wireless, bluetooth, webcam, and an xd,sd card reader, this little netbook has the lot. Having said that, it doesn't have a cd drive but primarily i wanted this so i could chat online with my girls including live cam, absolutely superb.
highly recommend it.
Works well with mobile broadband and if you want to load music onto it you can always do it via a memory stick from another pc or buy an external drive.Or download it!
A happy punter. | |
