Product arrived quickly, was easy to install & works fine, I've just too get used to the new set-up after being used to XP, which I'm used to.
7 starts up quickly & closes quickly and responds quickly to opening and closing programes, I like the featured it comes with, so far. It's early days and I'm pleased with it at the present. | | Oh, for Windows XP...: Rating: 2/5 |
| If a thing ain't broke, don't fix it! This is nowhere near as good as Windows XP, especially if you want to work with pictures. I'm going back to Windows XP. It's about time Microsoft realised that there are a lot of fans of XP out here. | | Windows 7 Home Premium: Rating: 4/5 |
| If you are a Windows Vista user that you must go for Windows 7 Home Premium. It will give you a fast response time, when you are logging into system or shutting down your system. It's a good buy. | | Lessons learned: Rating: 5/5 |
My daughters Vista powered laptop had become very unpredictable and unstable,so after having upgraded my pc to Windows 7,and seeing the benefits, she agreed to have her laptop upgraded! What a difference it made!64 bit Win7 running faster than Vist 32 bit? Amazon's price was the best on the Weand delivery within 48 hrs, daughter is happy and I get some peace @ last.Well done Amazon! And Microsoft! Why did you not give us Win7 instead of Vista?

| | Anything's Better than Vista: Rating: 2/5 |
Windows 7 is much better than Vista, but then again that's hardly praise at all.
Having got over the horrors of Vista I was first quite delighted with Windows 7. True it's not the mess that Vista is but it's still got it's limitations and they become more apparent the more you use it. Microsoft still aren't listening - in fact they seem to make out a career of it.
Come on, it's 2010 and we're still pressing the start button to turn it off! It really struggles with recognising USB devices, even powered USBs. Sometimes it recognises these devices and sometimes it just sulks and tells you your device is not present. Nothing new there then. | |
