| I have a couple of Seagate 1Tb external hard drives used for server backup in shared office space. I bought these to offer some level of deterant from the opportunist thief and I have to say I'm pretty impressed. Contrary to other reviews, the item fitted the Kingston slot well and the barrel stayed hard up against the body of the drive. Everything feels as solid and secure as you could possibly expect. A good buy that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. |

| Exactly what I needed. Basically I view these locks as a deterrent more than anything, this allows me to leave my laptop on my work desk with confidence it will still be there the next morning - and keeps the business happy that I'm not just leaving expensive hardware lying around. The lock is a bit looser than I would like in the Dell socket, but fits my home laptop (Packard Bell) perfectly. |

| I bought this before christmas in 09 and the top of it has fallen off and it is usless now as it doesn t lock anymore... it wasn t even a tight fit to my laptop... |
