Finally received this today and slot it in onto Samsung N210 netbook, and immediately noticed the difference! Much faster start up (even after I have disabled the starter programmes that I don't need, 1GB that it came with the netbook just not enough). Its so easy to slot in and am very happy now.
The only real let down is speed of amazon delivery, it's 2nd time in this same month I have to wait for 2 weeks to get 1 item and I had paid for expedited delivery as well, I found it very poor service. I hope it won't be an on going delivery issue with Amazon, as 2 weeks is too long when item is in stock and for paid fast delivery. I upgraded my Samsung N210 net-book which came with 1GB of ram with this 2GB. It arrived within a few days, by standard post. As directed I removed the battery and opened the plate at the back, within a few minute the change had been made, battery replaced and working again, performance having been duly improved.
I had inquired at a local shop who said they could replace the ram for me for free and once they had done this I would be sure to get it back in good working order, they wanted significantly more for the upgrade than I have paid now, but it did leave me a little nervous about tackling the job myself. There was no need as the instructions that came with the net-book were very easy to follow and worked.

| Bought this to go with my Samsung N210 - everyone said it needed the extra RAM. Fitted very easily, even for a non-techie like me! As my techie son said 'RAM drive in' is not an instruction, but pretty obvious what you have to do, trickiest bit was finding the scredriver small enough to remove the tiny screw holding in the cover! | Needed this for my ASUS 1005P. Five minutes after it being received my Husband had installed it. Some reviews mention about the memory not being 'seen' after switching back on, this Netbook had no such problems. Fast delivery, excellent product. |
