Useful Presentation Accessory: Rating: 4/5
I like the simplicity and compactness of this presentation aid. I like the way the wireless receiver fits inside the hand held unit and switches the battery off. Works perfectly with PowerPoint slide shows. My only gripe is that the laser pointer button seems to be programmed to mimic a keyboard combination. When I use the laser pointer with a piece of software other than PowerPoint, I get some random dialog box appearing. Not helpful when I'm simply trying to highlight something on screen. This happens in virtually every bit of software I've used it with - Microsoft Office, SAP and others.
straight out of the box: Rating: 4/5
Worked straight out of the box, just plugged it in and worked. Like the way the USB slots into the clicker, and much better than using keypad/mouse for professional presentations.

You can pay a lot more for kit that does many tricks but if yoiu just want a simple presenter this is definitely recommended.
One of the best: Rating: 5/5
This is my second one, I only purchased one recently because I dropped the last one! But I was impressed enough to simply buy another. One feature I really like is the way the dongle part is stored inside the main body - not only is it difficult to lose, but when it's inside it switches off the system so you can't accidentally be draining the battery when it's squashed in yor bag. Nice bit of kit if you do presentations.
F5 annoyance: Rating: 3/5
I do presentations/training using PowerPoint and MS Visual Studio. When I use the laser to point out something in Visual Studio it sends an F5 key press. This makes Visual Studio recompile the code I am trying to talk about. I have mailed support and they told me it is hardcoded and cannot be changed. So I have remapped F5 in Visual Studio to get round this. A bit of a pain but it works now.
