| Product Description |
| Finally, viewing, sharing and storing your precious digital photos is as easy as watching TV. Compact, convenient, and compatible with all popular digital media formats. |
| Customer Reviews: Average Rating: 4.0/5 | | Buy this and use your TV screen: Rating: 5/5 |
| Don't buy a 7" digital photo frame, use this with your TV so you can actually see the pictures without getting out of your seat. | | little on the heavy side: Rating: 4/5 |
| seems good (was a present for someone, so haven't had full use of it). The plug and transfomer make it quite heavy, so possibly not as ideal for travelling with as I had thought. But good value for money, and with usb port and all card slots makes showing pictures very easy. | | This is junk: Rating: 1/5 |
| If you think you can simply remove the SD card from your camera and use this device to view the photos on it, think again. I have a 7megapixel camera, so the pictue files are quite large. I use an SDHC card, which this device can't read. Copying the files on to a normal SD card seems to work, but is PAINFULLY SLOW at displaying the photos and after displaying a few photos it simply hangs. Finally - the remote control is quite useless. Pressing a button on it usually does nothing for about half a minute, then, when you've just about given up waiting, it either hangs, or (if you're lucky) responds. In short, this device is basically useless. | | Great product: Rating: 4/5 |
| As with a previous seller I haven't tested this product as a USB reader/writer, but as it's main function it is very good for viewing photos on TV. The only reason I give it 4 stars and not 5 is that it is a little slow to load full resolution images, however if you compress the images to 640x480 resolution (Very easy to convert a whole batch of files using irfanview freeware), it works excellently. Might be faster with full resolution images if a fast flash card such as Sandisk ultra or extreme is used?? | | Valuable addition: Rating: 4/5 |
The SanDisk Photo Album did "exactly what it said on the tin"! Making the connections with the supplied cables and slotting in one of the camera cards to produce a slide show on the TV screen was simplicity itself. The user (not myself) is a camera buff whose deteriating eyesight precludes making prints via his computer so a printer that will produce prints directly from his camera card allows him to show his photographs to friends and keeps his wife's print albums up-to-date. Also, the Photo Album, connected to his TV means he has a good view of the shots he has taken and also may interest/bore visitors on his 32" screen! There is, of course, more that the Sandisk could be used for, but for this particular purpose, it has proved ideal. | |
