| Product didn't arrive. called and was told that it would be posted next day. Again product didn't arrive. When asked for proof of delivery I received no documentation, just a scan of a signature which was not recognisable. |

Not up to normal Kensington standards - the plastic cover which protects the screw heads would be easy to lever off and thus unscrew - so I have had to get tamper-proof screws for it. Also screws provided are so short a sharp tug would pull it out out the wall!
A Rawlbolt would be more secure - and perhaps even easier to fit. |
| Not quite as pictured, but useful in the right application.: Rating: 3/5 |
| The article being supplied does not match the picture - only the anchor base plate itself is supplied. The cable/lock needs to be purchased separately if required. The steel base plate is of fairly solid construction (~3mm steel). However the cover that prevents access to the screws is very flimsy plastic and the screws supplied are very short. If installed using the supplied screws it would be trivial to removed the unit by either bending the plastic and removing the screws or by crowbarring the unit off. I recommend budgeting for some longer security screws, or considering whether there is somewhere you could rivet the unit to. Personally I use these plates creating a really solid anchor plate on the back of PC cases using rivets and large washers in the inside of the case and they are great for this. |
